Potterville has a small business district that contains several small stores, unique shops and restaurants, along with a grain elevator situated on a still active railroad line.  Fox park offers swimming, picnicking and a children's playground. The city is famous for its annual "Gizzard Fest" held the weekend of Father's Day each year.

on a personal approach through its low student to teacher ratio. Potterville schools provide a full curriculum, numerous extracurricular activities and adult education services.
